INSTRUCTIONS FOR GOODY BOX NIGHT: What size box do I need? Approximately one 18qt. Rubbermaid or a box similar in size to a copy paper box & packaging tape. How do I label it? Your Aggie's name & telephone number; other decorations are optional. What do I put in it? On goodie Box Night, you will bring 50 items, of one thing. (You may also pack a few personal items in your students’ box.) All the items will be placed in a pile on the table. When all the moms have arrived, we each take our Aggie's box and go around the table putting one of each item in the box until all the items are gone. Dads or siblings are welcome to come, especially if you need to pack more than one box, or if you have a schedule conflict. Suggestions of what to bring: Snack-size bags of candy – M&Ms, Skittles, etc. Snack-size bags of peanuts, corn nuts, Microwave popcorn Hot Chocolate mixes, flavored coffee packets Fruit juices, Snapple, Propel, soda, bottled water Ramen Noodles Gum, breath mints, Lifesavers, etc. Home-made baked goods (if packed for travel) Sun Flower seeds Apple chips or other dried fruit, trail mix, etc. Plain or Yogurt Raisins Caramel Crunch'n Munch popcorn Fruit Flavored Laffy Taffy Fruit Snacks Swiss Miss Spiced Apple Cider Mix Smile Binder Toy Stress toys Jerky Sticks or Strips Snack crackers, Goldfish, chips, etc. Breakfast bars, rice crispy Treats Pencils, pens, highlighters Canned or fresh fruit Note pads, stickers Cookie bars Plain or Chocolate covered pretzels Pop Tarts What happens after the boxes are filled? Tape box shut and load it into vehicle that will transport them to College Station Where or when will it arrive? The vehicle will park at the Fish Pond 3 days later on a Saturday, December 2nd. We will tell you the time when we fill the boxes. It is your job to let you Aggie know the time and place to pick up their box.
