2005-2006 STANDING & SPECIALCOMMITEES

• Audit Committee, appointed in March to audit financial records of the Treasure & present a report in May.
• Nominationg Committee, appointed in February to present a slate of officers at the March business meeting.
• Publicity Committee, appointed in May shall be responsible for contacting local papers to advertise upcoming meetings or events.  The Historian shall be Chairman of this committee.
• Way & Means Committee, appointed as needed & shall recommend fundraising projects to the members for approval & implementation. The Fourth Vice President will be chairman of the committee, choosing chair people for each fundraiser.
• Finance Committee, appointed in May to recommend the total budget to the Executive Board & present to the membership for approval in September.  The Treasure shall chair this committee.
• Program Committee, appointed in May will provide speakers or programs.(Oct., Nov. & Feb.) The First Vice President shall chair this committee.
• Membership Committee, appointed in May will promote membership & encourage members to participate in the meetings of the organization & the Federation.  Help produce a yearbook for each member in the fall or upon receipt of their application for membership.  The Second Vice President shall chair this committe.
• Social Committee, appointed in May shall be in charge of refreshments. The Third Vice President shall chair this committee.
• Scholarship Committee, appointed in January will make sure the application process is updated & carried through in a timely manner.  The Fifth Vice President shal be Chairman of this committee.
• Special Commitees, The executive board has the power to activate such special committees as shall be necessary for the proper conduct of the business of the club.
